Tom Klein, ASLA, WEDG is a landscape + urban designer and mobility advocate in Boston. He is passionate about crafting engaging public spaces that perform ecologically and socially. With a varied background that includes academic and professional experience in community sustainability, coastal resilience, environmental management, and active transportation planning, he is most compelled by large-scale projects that blend infrastructure and design. As a practicing designer, Tom has worked on numerous projects where human and non-human systems come together, rethinking the role of infrastructure in our cities.

Currently, Tom serves as the Waterfront Planning & Design Advisor for the Waterfront Alliance. He earned a Master in Public Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School and a Master of Landscape Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and has held several leadership roles including as a Mayoral Appointee on the Denver Bicycle Advisory Committee and as a Board Member for the American Society of Landscape Architects New York Chapter.
