Michael Sebold is the Vice President and General Manager of Tremco CPG/Schul International. Key to his efforts is the pioneering of product/system innovations to continually respond to the most critical design challenges facing the industry as well as supervising design integration and collaboration to ensure long-term sustainability.
Sebold has been with Tremco since 1989, starting out as a Technical Service Representative and transitioning into sales within a couple of years. Throughout much of his career, he has focused on the commercial window and curtain wall industry, serving as a Glazing Specialist, North American Sales Manager and Business Manager of Tremco’s Commercial Glazing Systems. Sebold also accepted the role of managing Technical Service, BEST Team, Design Engineering and the Test Facility, where he was promoted to Vice President of Technical Solutions prior to his current role.
During these roles, Sebold has facilitated the use of Tremco’s glazing components on several of the largest buildings in the world, including the Petronas Towers in Malaysia. He and Peter Poirier, technical director for building envelope solutions, also are responsible for the development of Tremco’s pioneering Proglaze® ETA Engineered Transition Assembly, which was awarded a patent in 2012.
A graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, Sebold earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. His memberships include the Protective Glazing Council, Glass Association of North America, American Manufacturer Architectural Association, and Air Barrier Association of America.
