Michael Bordenaro has been involved with the Asset Leadership Network for 11 years and has been Executive Director for the last three years.
He has helped the Asset Leadership Network achieve its mission of raising awareness of dramatic improvements to organizational missions with the use of asset management governance. One way he has done this is through collaborations with institutions and professional associations, such as NIBS, the National Academies, Society of American Military Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, The Institute of Asset Management, Asset Management Council, United Nations, and others.
Bordenaro was the catalyst for forming the American Institute of Architects Chicago Student Committee in 1979 and has been working to improve society through volunteer organizations ever since. He has been proud to volunteer facilitating and promoting more than 25 BIMStorms since the founding in 2007. Bordenaro is excited to return to Building Innovation to support one of the most dynamic and impactful BIMStorms in 17 years.
