Keith Bryan leads KPMG's Federal Sustainability, Environmental, and Climate Advisory Service Line, overseeing all KPMG Federal Advisory Environmental, Social, Governance initiatives. In this role, he guides multidisciplinary teams in assisting Federal government agencies to understand and develop solutions in line with sustainability, climate, and ESG reporting best practices.
Previously, Bryan served as the Director of Built Environment at the British Standards Institute. He also led the Energy, Sustainability, and Resilience practice area at Logistics Management Institute, where he played a pivotal role in various federal real-property energy and sustainability programs.
Bryan contributed to the General Service Administration's Office of Federal High-Performance Buildings 'Green Building Certification System Review' report and helped draft the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and GSA Climate Action Plans. Bryan began his sustainability career with the U.S. Green Building Council, ultimately becoming the Program Integration Manager for Certification Operations.
He serves as the Chair of the NIBS Facility Management and Operations Council and is actively involved in USGBC's Advocacy Working Group and the Society of American Military Engineers. Bryan holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from Purdue University and an MBA from Virginia Tech. He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and LEED AP in Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C) and Operations + Maintenance (LEED AP O+M).
