Jamie McKay is the Building Science Department Manager and Principal with Morrison Hershfield/Stantec’s Seattle office. He is a sustainability and building envelope specialist and has worked in the enclosure consulting industry for more than 25 years. McKay has acquired a wide range of knowledge in sustainable design through his project experience, technical presentations, and teaching and lecturing. His specialties include sustainable design facilitation and integration; high performance building envelopes; adaptive reuse of heritage buildings; LEED Building Durability; and LEED Building Envelope Commissioning (BECx). McKay received his LEED Fellow designation in 2014 from the USGBC and his Building Envelope Commissioning (BECxP) accreditation from the University of Wisconsin in 2017 (reaffirmed in 2022).
