Graham Finch is a principal, Senior Building Science Specialist, with RDH Building Science, in Victoria, British Columbia. He specializes in building enclosure design, risk management, research, and investigation work for new and existing buildings across Canada and the US. Finch regularly works with the building industry on material research and development and the creation of various industry guidelines and training initiatives and is regularly invited to speak to the practical and technical issues of a wide range of building science and enclosure design topics. In addition to RDH, Finch also is a sessional instructor of building science and enclosure engineering at the University of Victoria. This presentation covers one of Finch’s long-term research interests: the long-term improvement in performance of wood claddings and finishes.
