Robert Manna started as an 'architect' more than 20 years ago, fresh out of RPI. He quickly gravitated to the promise of BIM and Revit gaining global prominence in the design technology community. Since then, Manna has spent the last 10 years focused on data in many different forms and aspects, effectively providing consulting services to a range of projects (both built and software) on how to leverage, access, analyze and use data. This work has included managing the development of a digital twin platform on Azure, working with customers to connect various data sources and repositories and building data lakes, dashboards, and writing data transformation code. For the last two years, Manna has worked as a Senior Solutions Consultant with dRofus, tackling the thorniest issues that his company's customers run into when trying to facilitate aggregating and organizing AEC data from many sources.
